Good to know
This 10 gallon copper moonshine still with quick clamp cap and thumper infusion port is a full three-vessel setup: pot, thumper and condensing worm, all in 100% lead-free copper. The 10 gallon pot is 27.5 inches tall and 14 inches across, and the whole rig is about 48 inches end to end. Measure your workspace before you plan your first session.
How does the thumper infusion port change a run?
The 3 gallon thumper sits between the pot and the worm. Vapor bubbles through whatever you put inside it, and the infusion port lets you add fruit or botanicals to shape the aroma. It's the most experimental part of the whole build.
- Pot: 10 gallons with a temperature gauge so you can watch the heat climb.
- Thumper: 3 gallon capacity with a 1 1/2 inch brass flush out for easy draining and cleaning.
- Connections: a 12 inch long, 1/2 inch copper cross pipe with union fittings joins the vessels.
- Worm: a 3 gallon condensing tank with 7 feet of copper coil and 1 inch in/out hose connections for cooling water.
Write down what you put in the thumper on each run so you can repeat your best results. That's how you turn a lucky batch into a method. The still comes with free U.S. shipping and our 2-year warranty. Owning a still is legal in the US, and it can also make distilled water, essential oils or fuel alcohol. Producing spirits requires federal TTB permits. Questions about setup or heat? Contact us.
