Good to know
Looking for a 10 gallon copper moonshine still with a quick clamp cap that's easy to load, empty and clean? This version adds a 4 inch cap and a drain to the pot. The thumper gets its own 4 inch quick-clamp cap that also works as a fruit port. Everything is 100% lead-free copper.
Why choose a 4 inch quick-clamp cap and drain?
A wide opening makes the pot much easier to fill and scrub, and the drain lets you empty spent wash without wrestling a heavy vessel. Less time on chores means more time on the experiment itself.
- Pot: 10 gallons with temperature gauge, 4 inch cap and drain. It's 27.5 inches tall and 14 inches in diameter, and the full setup is about 48 inches long.
- Thumper: 3 gallons, with a 4 inch quick-clamp fruit port and a 1 1/2 inch brass flush out.
- Plumbing: 12 inch long, 1/2 inch copper cross pipe with union fittings.
- Worm: a 3 gallon condensing tank holding 7 feet of copper coil, with 1 inch in/out hose connections.
Load the thumper with fruit, herbs or spices and see how the vapor picks up character on the way through. That's where the alchemy happens. It comes with free U.S. shipping and our 2-year warranty. Owning a still is legal in the US, and it can also make distilled water, essential oils or fuel alcohol. Producing spirits requires federal TTB permits. Questions? Ask us anything.
